TPCO successfully developed X80Q grade offshore structural tubular and put on the market

Tianjin Pipe Corporation (TPCO) has developed tube products used in ocean engineering more than 10 years. X80 grade Jack-up rig used offshore structural tubular has been successful developed and got application in 2013, meanwhile, the product has certified by ABS and CCS.
TPCO proprietary X80 grade offshore structural tubular has the characteristics of low carbon equivalent, good weldability and excellent low temperature toughness, which has impact energy above 100J at -40 degree and ductile-brittle transition temperature below -60 degree. The product has passed the welding evaluation test in Technology Center of Welding China Petroleum and Natural Gas Pipeline Science Research Institute and many other shipyard in China, and has been used for multiple platforms building of different shipyards with a quantities about 10 thousands tones.
