TPCO strengthens long term relationship wit Shell

Followed TPCO approved by Exploration & Production,Shell U.K. Limited at the beginning of the year, for supply seamless casing J/K55, TPCO got certificate to supply line pipe from Shell Global Solutions International B.V. on 11 November,2004.

In the end of August last year, a group of professional of Shell came to TPCO for the auditing of the production line, after inspected the quanlity assurance system, ISO14001 system and ISO 18001 system, they highly appraised for the management .

TPCO is the sole Chinese company that has long-term, batch supply relations with Shell. The first shipment was made to AERA, a joint venture between Shell and Exxon-Mobil, in 2000, since then a large quantity of oil casing has been supplied. In March ,2003, TPCO got an trial order from Shell PDO, a joint venture between Shell and Oman,after then a long term agreement was reached for supply forty thousand ton OCTG to PDO.
